Tour description:
Itinerary: Belgrade – Pančevo - Idvor – Kovačica – Belgrade
Departure from Novi Sad at 07:30h and from Belgrade at 09h. Drive to Pančevo where we will go to the Temple of the Assumption of the Holy Mother of God, which Pupin used to visit. The elementary schoold which helds his name and in his honor there is alos Regional center for your talents in science and culture. This center has a valuable collection of the most talented young scientists, patents, and other works in the field of science, but also fine arts. Departure to Idvor, the birth place of Mihailo Pupin. In Idvor we will visit Homeland complex of Mihailo Idvor Pupin (his birth house, musum, foundation, the church of Holly Annunciation). Continue to a nearby salas (English messauge) where we will make a lunch break and we you will have a possibility to try some Banat specialities. Followed by the visit Kovačica town. Visit the Gallery of Naive Art, where you will see the creativity of Zuzana Halupova and other Slovakian artists as well as to visit the workshop for the violins productions. We will also pvisit the Martin Jonas Museum, one of the most important authors in the world of naive painting and one of the founders of the Naive Gallery of Art. Return to Belgrade and Novi Sad around 19h or 20:30h.
