Tour description:
jednoDeparture from Novi Sad at 7:00 am from the parking lot at the hotel Fair (at the restaurant of Gold Medal). Departing from New Belgrade at 08:30h on the parking lot across from the Flea Market.
The journey to one of the most important archaeological sites, Vinča, one of the first urban settlements in Europe, which dates from the period between 5,000 BC, where they found a well-preserved remains of a Neolithic village.
We continue our journey towards another important archaeological site, Viminacium, where the remains of the capital of the Roman province of Upper Moesia and the legionary camp. Previous findings have confirmed the special significance of Viminacium as the leading Roman metropolis in this part of the Danube limes. The visit and the site where the skeleton of a mammoth found the old "only" 5 milion years!
The journey continues to Silver Lake, which is due to its exceptional beauty and size, and called "Serbian sea". Free time for lunch in one of the many restaurants on the lake.
Journey to Smederevo, Serbia capital before its fall under Turkish rule. Tour Smederevo Fortress, one of the largest medieval fortresses in Europe and one of the 6 most important fortresses on the Danube in our country.
In the end, we will warm up in one of the wineries of the area where we will taste several types of wine.
