Day 1. Belgrade - Manasija - Ravanica - Krusevac - Ribarska spa approx. 265 km
Departure from Belgrade to the Monastery of Manasija with short pauses for rest. Visit the Monastery of Manasija from the XV century where we will hear the story about despot Stefan, who raised the monastery and its miraculous destiny. We recommend lunch in the restaurant near the waterfall Veliki Buk. After that, we will visit the monastery Ravanica from the XIV century, the endowment and the tomb of Prince Lazar. It is a true pearl among Serbian monasteries and one of the most beautiful examples of “Morava school” architectural style. His towers, named after the Kosovo warriors - the kings of Prince Lazar, Jug-Bogdan, Miloš Obilić, recall the times when knights still walked the country. Arrival to Krusevac, a city of rich tradition and centuries-old history. Sightseeing of the most important sights of the city - Lazarica Church, fortress, National Museum in Kruševac, the monument to the founder of the city - Prince Lazar. After that, departure to Ribarska Spa, the health and climatic resort, located at the north slopes of Mt. Jastrebac, for the overnight stay.
Day 2. Ribarska spa- Devil’s Town- Prolom spa approx. 125 km
After breakfast departure to the Devil's Town, a place of the strange name and wonderful appearance. Devil's Town is the only Serbian candidate for the 7 world wonders of nature. Departure to Prolom Spa, located on the slopes of the Radan Mountain famous for its healing water. We recommend lunch in Ethno pub, with the specialties of the Kuršumlija’s region. Walk to another Lazarica church which is the only wooden church in Toplica region. Accommodation in a spa hotel, swimming in the pool or a walk through the spa complex. Overnight.
Day 3. Prolom spa- Prokuplje - Lebane - Leskovac approx. 135 km
After breakfast, we go to Prokuplje where we get to know the history of the famous Iron Regiment from this place. The flag of the Iron Regiment, which we will see in the museum, is the most decorated flag of the Serbian army, and a special honor was given to it by the fact that whit it was covered the remains of King Peter. Visit the museum and the monument to fallen fighters in the city center. Prokuplje is also a city of the Kosovo heroes, more precisely Jug Bogdan’s city. On Hisar Hill, we will take a short break from where the most beautiful view of the city is provided, and here we will also take the opportunity to visit the excavations of the Roman city of Hameum. Today, important ceremonies take place here. Free time for lunch. We continue the journey to Lebane (Justiniana Prima), an archeological site from the 6th century, one of the largest and most important Byzantine cities in the Balkans. It was erected by the great Byzantine Emperor Justinian I (527-565) according to many sources as a sign of gratitude to the place where he was born. Continue to Leskovac, and accommodation in the hotel. Overnight.
Day 4. Leskovac- Niš – Belgrade approx. 310 km
After breakfast, sightseeing of Leskovac and departure to Niš, followed by a walk through the Niš Fortress and the city center. Departure to Skull Tower, an impressive monument from the First Serbian Uprising, which in response to the retribution built by the then Turkish authorities in Serbia from the skulls of the dead Serbian warriors in the battle at Ceger. Today it is a museum object. We recommend lunch in ethno complex Moravski Konaci. Return to Belgrade with the occasional stops for rest. End of the program.
